•July 22, 2009 • Leave a CommentYesterday was good, the lectures were alright. Interesting content, just not sure if it should have been in a lecture form. After the lecture, Matt and I went to the mall and I got some backup clothes because I am avoiding laundry at all costs. (See: Many earlier posts about the shitty laundry situation). Afterward, we had a reading and it was very good. Dog’s Bullocks again. Salvi, matt, Jake Bill and I. We had a “guys night” though we refused to call it that. Quiet night after that. Today was our second class with Stan. He is a good guy, I got some great feedback for my poems and it seems to be focused around going back and drafting the poems we worked on some more, which is fine. After we went out to lunch as a class and Stan paid for everyone’s check, despite protests. It was a very nice thing to do. Pizza tonight I guess and then working on writing. Pics very very soooon.
The most remarkable thing about you standing in the doorway is that it’s you and that you’re standing in the doorway
•July 20, 2009 • Leave a CommentInstead of going to the movie I decided to check out my haunt, Dog’s Bullocks for dinner. Salvador, Matt and Callen actually found me there and had dinner too. It was pretty enjoyable. A lot to think about. Our first class with Stanley was enjoyable. He is very wise and doesn’t mess around when it comes to critiquing your poetry. Very honest and direct. Not much else, more pics on the way.
Your love is like a cyclone in a swamp and the weather’s getting warmer…
•July 19, 2009 • Leave a CommentOk, so this weekend was fun, on friday we had the student readings, which were wonderful. Sam did an amazing job with her reading and actually made me tear up a little. Later, we went to U Sudu for Christine’s birthday. I had a great time and also got back really early. After sleeping in, I spent some time roaming by myself on Saturday. I went to the Globe bookstore and cafe to get some work done. I got as far as cleaning my desktop. Oh well. It was pouring all day yesterday and it made for an interesting walk to and from the dorm. For dinner we went to Fraktal for burgers, it was really tasty but far out of our way. We decided to drink in last night and played Never Have I Ever which was entertaining. After that, we went to Dog’s Bullocks and Sam and I ducked out soon afterward to get some much needed sleep.Today, I went out to get some money and ended up meeting Salvador, Matt and Callen on the way. They were headed to Petrin Hill and the fake Eiffel Tower so I joined them in their escapade. The tower was extremely scary. It was made out of old railroad parts, was built in less than a month, and sways on windy days. IT WAS EXTREMELY WINDY TODAY. We got some great camera shots though. After that, we got a quick snack and tried to get to Dog’s Bullock’s but it was closed until 5 =C So we went to a Falaffel place instead. it was really amazing and the cook was really nice. After that, we made our way back. I might go to the globe tonight to see Goodfellas. We will see. First class with Stanley Plumly tomorrow. Should be interesting.
Anyway, here’s some recent pics….I really need to start taking more.

•July 17, 2009 • Leave a CommentClass was great today, went outside and everything. I’m going to miss having Pam as my teacher. She was wonderful. I got a lot accomplished and I am excited to go back and edit my poems. Yes, excited.
